Precision Agriculture is a whole-farm management approach that uses information data technology, satellite positioning data and proximal data gathering.
Today’s agriculture uses sophisticated GPS technology and advanced devices which allow businesses to be more efficient, profitable, easy and environmentally friendly. By doing a lot of research and with help of our strategic partners from AgriDron, AgFutura Technologies spent last week visiting farms in Macedonia in order to familiarize farmers with the concept of Precision Agriculture.
While examining the soil of these pilot farms we were able to help farmers in Macedonia receive more information about their soil, and the crops they are producing. AgFutura offers instructions of how to use this new technology and this precision agriculture management concept. The concept is based on observing, measuring and responding to inter and intra-field variability in crops which will be of great assistance and value to our farms.
We would like to acknowledge the work of all the farms we managed to visit and say thanks to Bonier-Z.K Erdzelija, Uni Agro, Agria,Agricultural Cooperativ-Eko Ilinden, Dushan Kjirikj for the support during this past week.
