On the 5th November 2019 AgFutura Technologies held a presentation at the Vocational and Educational High School “Brakja Miladinovci”.
The presentation was held in the presence of 25 students, representing 4 different curriculum’s (Agro management, Phytomedicine, Veterinary, Horticulture), as well as in the presence of 3 professors and 2 pedagogues.
The main goal of this lecture and presentation was to introduce the students in the digitalization of the agricultural production, one of the key services of AgFutura Technologies. Additionally, the reasons for carrying out this presentation was to animate the young and potential students to continue their studying in the agricultural sector and to explain them that digital agriculture is becoming one of the most interesting and needed professions for the survival of all human kind.
The students were introduced in the technologies that are in active service in AGFT. The services represented to the students was the remote monitoring and advisory service with its first private weather station that is supported with digital interface for generating real time information and history log.
The students also had the opportunity to see the specialized agricultural drone with NDVI camera that is in service of AGFT. As the part of the presentation, there was test flight of the drone and discussing the results of NDVI analysis of several orchards.
On this lecture there was an additional presentation of the project Farming 4.0 under the program Erasmus+. The team from AgFutura presented the main aim of the project, what is its purpose, what are the target groups and benefits of this project.
