SAGRE

Project Overview

The objective of the Erasmus+ SAGRE project is to improve agriculture through the transfer of knowledge and the demonstration of feasible IT solutions. The main objective of the SAGRE project is to improve the precise and sustainable use of chemical fertilizers, to promote a shift towards a circular economy and to increase the use of biofertilizers. To achieve this goal, the SAGRE project will develop learning materials, train potential trainers (a group of agriculture engineers) and focus on knowledge transfer and demonstration of feasible IT solutions to build capacity for the new Smart Agri Expert profession. These experts will serve as practice-oriented knowledge nodes between agricultural stakeholders and farmers. Through this initiative, SAGRE aims to improve agricultural practices to obtain healthy soil, biodiversity and safe food.
