Ag Futura Technologies Joins ACCELERATE Project to Advance UAV Technology for Sustainability

The EU-funded project ACCELERATE officially launched with its kick-off meeting on January 24th at Harokopio University of Athens. Funded by Horizon 2023, the 48-month project (Jan 2025 – Dec 2028) aims to enhance UAV technology for sustainable environmental management through interdisciplinary collaboration.
By integrating AI with UAVs, it seeks to develop advanced methodologies, standardized protocols, and experimental use cases for environmental monitoring. Led by Dr. George P. Petropoulos, the project includes 17 partners from 9 countries spanning academia and industry. The meeting set the stage for research activities, secondments, and field experiments to drive UAV innovation for a sustainable future.
Ag Futura Technologies is a partner in the ACCELERATE project, contributing to the advancement of UAV technology for sustainable environmental management. As part of a 17-partner consortium, AGFT collaborates with academic and industrial experts across 9 countries.
