From November 12 to 14, the Faculty of Agriculture at “Goce Delchev” University successfully organized the event “Days of Young Researchers,” a significant gathering dedicated to networking, knowledge exchange, and supporting students’ research ambitions. The event allowed companies to present their businesses and the opportunities they offer to encourage students to consider future collaboration. In addition, the event included panel discussions that addressed important issues for young people in agriculture. Students had the opportunity to network with potential future employers, share the challenges they face, while more experienced industry professionals made efforts to encourage and motivate them to pursue careers in any branch of agriculture and the food industry.

Participation of Ag Futura Technologies

AgFutura Technologies supported the event by participating in the panel discussion: Youth in Agriculture. During the discussion, students had the opportunity to hear several success stories from young researchers and entrepreneurs in agriculture, who shared their experiences, the challenges they faced, and the visions they follow. In addition to the successful discussion, agronomists from AgFutura Technologies informally shared their experiences with anyone interested during the break.

Key Topics and Outcomes

• Sessions were organized for students across all study levels, featuring over 28 research papers, compared to 18 in the previous year.
• Promotion of innovative techniques for reducing greenhouse gases in agricultural production.
• The presence of representatives from academia, companies, and students opened new perspectives for future partnerships and research ideas.

Topics such as climate change and its impact on agricultural production are gaining increasing attention. This event highlighted the importance of young researchers and their role in finding solutions to global challenges.
