AGFUTURA Role

AGFT contributes to Pilot 6, focused on soil management and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for climate change adaptation, by supporting the implementation, validation, and demonstration of sustainable agricultural practices under local farming conditions. The organization facilitates stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer through its extensive network of farmers, advisors, and agricultural practitioners, promoting the uptake of climate-resilient soil and crop management solutions.

AGFT also contributes to exploitation and innovation management activities by assessing the practical applicability, market potential, and scalability of the demonstrated solutions. Furthermore, the organization supports replicability efforts by documenting best practices, evaluating transferability across different agroecological contexts, and fostering the dissemination of results to accelerate adoption beyond the pilot regions.
