Polirural created a Foresight Guide to Deep Dives Impact of COVID-19 on Rural Regions.

The main focus of this document is the effect that COVID-19 had on the 12 Polirural pilots.

There was a discussion about the impact of the COVID-19 pandemics in each region, how well the region responded, what it needs to do for a full recovery, and how it might respond better to future crises.

Despite their similarities, each of the 12 pilots are running regional Foresight initiatives in the POLIRURAL project, guided by independent agendas. AgFutura Technologies and the Polirural project partner Green Growth Platform have evaluated the following issues: the regional impact of COVID-19, Green Deal, CAP Reform and the new Biodiversity strategy as a basis for illustrating the application of the Deep-Dive methodology, as part of the Foresight process.
